Complaints If
you have a complaint or concern regarding the service you have received from the
doctors or any of the staff working within this practice, please let us know.
We operate a practice complaints procedure as part of an NHS system for dealing
with complaints. Our complaints system meets national criteria.
Please
ask at reception for the patient information leaflet regarding the complaints
procedure. All complaints should be put in writing to the practice manager.
Confidentiality
We ask for information about
you so that you are able to receive the best possible care and treatment available.
We keep this information, together with details of your care, to ensure that your
doctor or nurse has accurate and up to date information in case it may be needed
if we see you again.
We only use or pass on information about you to people
who have a genuine need for it. Whenever we can, we will remove details that identify
you as an individual. Sometimes the law requires us to pass on information: for
example a notification of a birth. The NHS Central Register for England and Wales
contains basic personal details of all patients registered with a general practitioner.
This register does not contain clinical information.
EVERYONE WORKING WITHIN
THE NHS HAS A LEGAL OBLIGATION TO MAINTAIN THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF CONFIDENTIALITY
REGARDING PATIENT INFORMATION.
If at any time you would like to know more
about how we use your information, please contact Mrs L Heywood, the practice
manager.
