HOW
DO I....
OBTAIN
A REPEAT PRESCRIPTION ?
If you are on regular
medication, you can request a repeat prescription by using the green tear-off
slip or you can jot down the items you need. It would help the practice if you
have mislaid the tear-off slip, if you could have the items written down in advance;
this will then cut down on the time waiting in reception.
When you have
ticked the items you need, there are several ways to obtain your prescription:
•
Bring it to the surgery and pop it in to the box at the reception counter or •
You can post it and include a stamped, addressed envelope or • Fax it
through on 0161 223 8639
Your prescriptions will take 48 hours to process.
All
repeat prescriptions are regularly reviewed so after a period of time the doctor
may wish to see you.
N.B: We do not accept orders for repeat prescriptions
over the telephone due to security issues.
