PRACTICE STAFF

Practice Manager
Mrs L Heywood is directly responsible for planning and developing the practice and she also endeavours to provide a pleasant and efficient working environment. Additionally, she promotes a quality service to patients for their continuing health care.

Receptionists
All the receptionists act as a liaison between the patient and GP, and confidentiality is assured at all times. All requests will be dealt with in a quick and efficient manner to ensure the needs of the patient are fully addressed.

Practice Nurse
Available by appointment for advice on minor illness and minor injuries, blood tests, routine and holiday immunisations, blood pressure checks, contraceptive care, smears, ear syringing.

Health Care Assistant
The practice has a health care assistant who, along with the practice nurse, will be able to do blood tests, blood pressure checks and new patient health checks.

ATTACHED STAFF

District Nurses Visit patients at home.
Midwives Antenatal clinic Thursday. The community midwives will be available for routine antenatal care and problems by appointment.
Health Visitors Attend weekly for baby clinic (Tuesday afternoon).
Psychologist Attends weekly.
